Pandagunda is a Swedish visual artist of Palestinian origin. After graduating from university he worked as an interior designer until deciding to move to Europe to seek refuge from political conflicts in Palestine. After briefly living in Paris, he settled in Sweden where he began working as a freelance digital artist. His work aims to change conventional forms and break rules, to present new perspectives and shift the manner in which they are perceived. Beginning with the destruction of portraits and faces, his work has gradually evolved through a lens of self-exploration, to reconcile the conflict of personal identity fractured by his diasporic journey.
